SACRED DANCE

A Safe Space for Ceremony, Transformation & Authentic Expression

Sacred Dance is an intentional gathering for people to come together, share, heal, and express through movements, and dance.  Starting in 2020 as a small group of friends who would come together to dance in the forest around a fire with a small speaker system, we realized that the power to move energy and heal was revealed in the simplicity of Dance. In some respect, dancing helped our community come together during a difficult period the world was going through to heal and grow.

Gradually over the years the intentionality expanded, and curation of sacred space evolved. We slowly began to realize that as the safety of the container is prioritized and cultivated, the capacity for greater healing and expression expanded.

Come Join us to co-create and celebrate life!

SACRED FIRE

The fire is considered to be a sacred wise transformative living being. It is considered an aspect or a relative of the sun, sometimes referred to as “Ray of the Sun”. The fire is the one who has the capacity to create and dissolve energy, and so this powerful force must be treated with great respect.

During our gatherings this energy must be kept strong physically, and metaphysically. This is where the Fire keeper is at the helm.

One of our intentions with sacred dance is to encourage all those in the community to approach fire with respect and growing awareness of its transformative qualityRemember, Spirit is present all the time, in ceremony and in daily life. These living energies & beings are there to help us should we invite them in a respectful manner!

Sacred Fire.jpg

Long ago, native americans of this continent developed a reciprocal relationship and language, or way of speaking. The sacred fire is part of that language. In many cultures this relationship has been forgotten or lost. We wish to restore this sacred relationship.

With continued diligence and remembrance, the ancient bond between spirit, fire, and man is renewed and strengthened. As this happens, spiritual guidance returns to help us all in a good way!

PRINCIPLES

1. SHOW UP FULLY
Realize that the greatest gift you can bring to this gathering is your total energy and    participation. We feed off of each other.

2. EMBODIED SELF EXPRESSION
Embodied self-expression arises from the unique gifts of the individual. It is offered as a gift to others. No one other than the individual or a collaborating group can determine its content.

3. INCLUSION & NON-JUDGEMENT
We welcome and respect the stranger. No prerequisites exist for participation in our community.

4. COMMUNITY EFFORT
Our community values creative cooperation and collaboration.

5. LEAVE NO TRACE
Our community respects the environment. We are committed to leaving no physical trace of our activities wherever we gather. We clean up after ourselves and endeavour, whenever possible, to leave such places in a better state than when we found them.

Any consumables you bring into the area, be sure to pack them out.

GIN PERRY

Gin is inspired by nature in the ways that it is cyclical. She helps us remember that death follows life, as life follows death. WHAT IS A PARTY IN THE 21st CENTURY?

The word partying still has some old baggage associated with it. Substance abuse, vague memories, short-lived dance-offs, and little to no authentic connection with others.

Not to mention horrible hangovers.

The New Era of gatherings is about something else.

Coming together as a collective, we have the opportunity to help each other

express ourselves fully and break free from old paradigms that may be holding us back in our lives.

To achieve this, we work with the fire to transform old energy and call in new life that can be embodies

for the good of all.

It is essential to maintain a high level of conscious awareness and hold ourselves

to a higher intention.
